Romeo’s Pizza Helps Build a Home with Habitat for Humanity

Romeo’s Pizza, the award-winning franchise with 50 operating locations is volunteering to help build a home with Medina County Habitat for Humanity. The Romeo’s Pizza team was on the build site on July 14th and will return to continue building on July 28th. 6 of Romeo’s Pizza Home Office team members are at the site each day to help construct the home from the inside out!

“I am so excited to be a part of building this home for Habitat for Humanity of Medina. Before we selected these volunteer dates, I met with Sheryl the Volunteer Coordinator and Tom their Executive Director who gave me the grand tour and really helped me understand how important their mission is and how it correlates with our Local Pizza Champion efforts. I knew from that moment, we needed to collaborate to help our communities together.” Macy Waterbury – Field Marketing Specialist for Romeo’s Pizza.

About Habitat for Humanity of Medina County
“Habitat for Humanity of Medina County brings together businesses, organizations, churches and individuals to offer families a hand up, not a hand out. As an independent, non-profit, housing ministry, we work with hard working families and individuals to provide the opportunity to purchase a simple and decent home with a 0% interest mortgage. Families are selected based on their need for better housing, willingness to partner with Habitat through contributing sweat equity and the ability to pay the affordable monthly mortgage payment. When you partner with Habitat for Humanity you are helping make the whole community stronger.” Said Tom O’Connell – Executive Director.
