Get Cheesy with Romeo’s Loaded Crust Pizza

If you’re looking for stuffed crust pizza near you, you’ve found the best one at Romeo’s. Our Loaded Crust Pizza, Romeo’s version of stuffed crust pizza, is loaded with gooey mozzarella cheese.
What Makes Romeo’s Loaded Crust Pizza Unique?
The Capone Sauce it’s served with. Capone Sauce is Romeo’s classic dipping sauce. Romeo’s Capone Sauce was a creation of one of our franchisees in Columbus, Ohio. Capone Sauce is a mixture of buffalo sauce, ranch, barbecue sauce, garlic butter and some other secret ingredients. (We can’t share all the secrets!) This unique combination created a tangy, spicy sauce that is an amazing complement to Romeo’s signature sweet pizza sauce.
How is Romeo’s Loaded Crust Pizza Made?
We start with an extra large dough pressed into a large pizza pan. This gives us the extra dough to stuff with cheesy goodness. We stuff gooey mozzarella cheese into the crust, forming the perfect cheese pocket for a yummy cheese pull. Then, we top the pizza with our sweet pizza sauce, Wisconsin cheese blend and your favorite pizza toppings. We love old-world style pepperoni and banana peppers on a Loaded Crust pizza. The old-world style pepperoni has a bit of kick to its crispy pepperoni edges that are the perfect vehicle for a dunk in Capone Sauce.
How is Loaded Crust Pizza Served?
Romeo’s Loaded Crust Pizza is served as a Large Pizza only. It is cut into 10 slices and serves 4-6 people.

Everything You Need to Know About Deep Dish Pizza

If you’re looking for a Chicago-style deep dish pizza, you’ve come to the right place. Romeo’s Italiano, our version of deep dish pizza, is available at all Romeo’s Pizza locations. If you’re a deep dish pizza lover, we highly recommend giving it a try. Bonus if you love sweet sauce like we do.
What is Deep Dish Pizza?
Also known as “Chicago-style” pizza, deep dish pizza refers to a pizza that has a high edge, usually a 2″-3″ high crust. It’s baked in a “deep dish” pan that mimics a cake pan, creating a wall of crust that is filled with toppings, then cheese and topped with pizza sauce. It’s like an extra thick, upside down pizza. Deep dish pizza is the ideal pizza design for lots of cheese and chunky tomato sauce, making it the perfect canvas to showcase Romeo’s signature pizza sauce.
So, what makes Romeo’s Deep Dish Italiano so good? For starters it’s made with our fresh dough that’s made in house daily. Thick, pillowy crust is baked in garlic butter to create a super flavorful base to the deep dish pizza. Next, we fill it with your favorite toppings. Our fave combo is sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms and banana peppers. Pile on the cheese, then put it in the oven! Once it’s baked to perfection, we top it with our signature pizza sauce and a sprinkle of fresh seasonings.
In our opinion, our pizza sauce is what makes this pizza so good. Our sauce is made with sweet California tomatoes that are fresh-packed, meaning they are picked and canned within 8 hours. No stewing, no boiling down to tomato paste. Just light and sweet vine-ripened tomatoes. We make our sauce in house daily mixing our sweet California tomatoes with our signature spice blend to create our signature sweet pizza sauce. It’s less acidic and sweeter than traditional pizza sauce and is what gives Romeo’s its Award Winning flavor. The Deep Dish Italiano really lets our pizza sauce shine as it’s the first thing you taste when diving into our deep dish pizza!
How Many Slices are in a Deep Dish Italiano Pizza
The Deep Dish Italiano is cut into 10 slices. We estimate it serves 4-6 people, but the real question is…how hungry are you?
How Many Toppings Can I Add?
You can add as many toppings as you want on the Deep Dish Italiano pizza.

How to Order Sheet Pizza for a Crowd

From birthday parties to big meetings, sheet pizzas are always a hit. Figuring out how many sheet pizzas to order can be tough, though. Don’t worry, the Romeo’s team has your back. We break down how to order sheet pizzas, how many slices to plan per person and how to order sheet pizzas online.
What is a Sheet Pizza?
Sheet pizzas are large, rectangle shaped pizzas cut into small square slices. Sheet pizzas are perfect for parties and get-togethers because they are versatile, easy and crowd-pleasing. Have you ever walked into a party and been bummed to see pizza? We doubt it.
Why Sheet Pizza instead of Regular Pizza?
Sheet pizzas offer a different pizza eating experience. Instead of the classic triangle pieces, sheet pizzas are cut into squares, making it super easy to grab a slice and keep the party going. Sheet pizzas are also a great option if you’re serving other types of food. The pieces are small enough that one or two won’t feel like a full meal, but will give you that pizza satisfaction.
Sheet pizzas make hosting easy because:
- Feed more people
- Different styles of slices = less waste
- Love crust? Grab the corner pieces!
- Hate crust? Grab a middle piece packed with cheesy goodness.
- Have little ones? The smaller pieces are perfect for little hands!
- Easy to eat one handed with or without a plate
How Many Slices are in a Sheet Pizza?
Half sheet has 20 slices. Full sheet has 40 slices.
Full Sheet vs. Half Sheet Pizza
Romeo’s half sheet pizza is 14” x 16.5” and cut into 20 pieces. To create our full sheet pizza, we put two halves together. Our full sheets offer more edge pieces!
How Many Toppings Can be on a Sheet Pizza?
We recommend 1-3 toppings on a sheet pizza for the best dough+cheese+topping ratio. You can order any of our specialty pizzas as a sheet pizza, too!
How Many People Does a Sheet Pizza Feed?
When ordering sheet pizza, we recommend planning for each adult to eat 2-3 pieces. If you’re hosting kiddos, plan 1-2 pieces depending on their age. A half sheet pizza feeds 6-8 people. A full sheet pizza feeds 12-16 people.
Order Sheet Pizza Online!
Order sheet pizzas near you online for your next party from Romeo’s! We kindly request 24 hours notice if more than 4 half sheet pizzas or 2 full sheet pizzas are needed. This gives us enough time to make fresh dough for you! We also offer catering-size menu items to go with your sheet pizzas, like salads and 2-liters. Give us a call to learn more about Romeo’s Pizza catering for your next big event.

Cheesy Pizza Wedding Ideas

At Romeo’s we know pizza isn’t just a meal, it’s a way of life. Because of this we also know that the only way to celebrate your life-long commitment to your partner is with the other life-long commitment you already made to pizza. Over the years, people have gotten pretty creative with how they invite pizza into their big day, so let’s go through the list and brainstorm together how you can too.
Pre-Wedding Lunch
The pre-wedding lunch is all about survival. As a couple, it’s possible you won’t have much to eat at the reception with everyone trying to get your attention. Don’t forget to eat. Have a pizza delivered… and have one delivered to your partner too. Eating on this day is often forgotten and making sure food is available is as easy as picking up your phone. Cash in some of your pizza rewards! It’s a big day, you’ve earned it.
Pizza as a Reception Meal
Pizza is not often thought of as a traditional reception meal, but that is where we adamantly disagree. Romeo’s has won the award for “Best Gourmet Pizza in North America” so if anyone says it’s not classy enough, show them the credentials. With all of the different specialty pizzas Romeo’s has to offer, your out-of-town relatives are going to start making regular visits (They’ll say it’s to see you, but we know they just missed us).
Pizza Instead of a Wedding Cake
Cutting the cake with your partner is a wedding tradition, but if you have ever used a pizza cutter, you know how much more satisfying it is to roll that through a pizza then pressing a knife through cake. Plus, Romeo’s pizza uses 100% real Wisconsin cheese so who’s to say a pizza can’t be as decadent as a cake?
Pizza as Hors D’Oeuvres for Cocktail Hour
If you’re having a cocktail hour before the reception consider serving pizza as your hors d’oeuvres. Romeo’s has some the best gourmet pizza around, and with so many options, everyone will be able to find something they love. Use one of our winning wine and pizza pairings, and I guarantee people will remember your wedding!
Pizza as a Wedding Favor
They say weddings are one of the best places for singles to connect so don’t let anyone go home without a loved one! Send your guests home with a slice of their favorite pizza! After a night of celebration, booze, and desserts, a slice of pizza sounds incredible so give them something they could really use!
A Post-Wedding Meal
Let us set the scene for you; you just went through one of the most emotional days of your life, marrying the person you love, dancing with friends and family, getting bombarded with hugs, kisses, and fist bumps and most likely didn’t get the chance to eat. Find your local Romeo’s, and plan to have a pizza ordered to your hotel or wherever it is you’re staying. Relax with your new spouse and finally have a bite of something that isn’t cake! It may sound ridiculous, but you will thank us for this tip later!
Remember, at Romeo’s we believe pizza is always the answer… unless of course you’re supposed to say “I do.” All in all, this day is about you so get creative, and have fun inviting pizza to your wedding. Below are some more ideas that didn’t quite make our list.
Ways You Should NOT Incorporate Pizza Into Your Wedding
- Pizza slices as pocket squares
- Pizza bouquet (may be messy during the toss?)
- Spelling out the wedding program with pepperonis on a slice of pizza for each seat… I’m pretty sure all of our chefs would quit so please don’t request this
- Eating a slice of pizza from both sides until you kiss in the middle like Lady and the Tramp during the ceremony
- Pizza flavored cake – while this seems like a great compromise to cutting the pizza or the cake, this is not recommended. Instead, use our suggestion of just replacing the cake with pizza altogether.
- Serving frozen pizzas and not fresh, gourmet-made pizzas
- A pizza crust ring. While you can bake it into a circle – that’s great – but it will get stale, moldy, and crumble apart in a few days so stick with the tradition of rings.
- Having your reception at a Romeo’s location: while we would LOVE to celebrate with you, there probably isn’t enough room. However, we can deliver your meal, so you can always enjoy Romeo’s Pizza at your wedding! Or stop by for a quick photo outside of your favorite pizza place
A Love Story Of The Great Ranch And Potato Pizza Part 2

Continued from Part 1…
I saw her get taken out of the bowl and laid on top of 100% Wisconsin cheese, ranch bacon sauce, and surrounded by ranch flavored almonds, and Italian sausage. She got placed at the center! You may not understand this, but it goes to show how beautiful she truly was. To be placed at the center of a pizza means you are the first bite of a slice! The first taste of the euphoric experience that is pizza and it is an honor reserved only for the best and most beautiful.
I watched the process as her pizza baked so that the outer crust was perfectly risen and golden brown. The pizza was placed into a box and sliced ever so perfectly. The chef picked it up, and began to walk it out to the table…
This was my shot, and it was my only one. I leaped from the edge of the bowl which I was placed directly onto the knife which had accidentally been laid with the blade straight up. It sliced me perfectly in half and boy did I look good. I was cooked perfectly through, and with my red skin, there was no way she wouldn’t notice me. I rolled off the counter directly onto her pizza pie as it passed by on the way out.
I landed soft into the gooey cheese knowing I would be stuck wherever I hit. I lifted my eyes to scan my surroundings when I realized something… I had done it. I was directly next to her. The onion of my dreams. She looked back at me surprised, but after the moment of shock, she said, “what took you so long” and flashed a big smile.
The customer that ordered the pizza that day was stunned at the unique pizza which he received. He quickly began telling his friends, and the chef at Romeo’s, not knowing what I had done, was completely taken aback as customer after customer began requesting the same series of toppings.
It was a new era of pizza that I had started. Can you believe it? A little red potato like me had changed pizza forever. It became known as The Great Ranch & Potato Pizza, and it was indeed great. It went on to win the award for “The Best Gourmet Pizza in North America” all because of the heroics of one potato. So I urge you now to remember this story the next time someone tries to put down your dreams.
